First Impressions

Appearance

"A human woman in her mid 30s, dirty blonde hair, extremely short in the back, but long and side-combed in the front, framing the right side of her face to just past the chin."

Scars and tattoos:

1. A heavy scar running from "the top of the brow down to the bottom of the chin." (Art may be inconsistent, but let's go with the scar on the left side of her face.)
2. A large burn scar covering the right side of her neck, down to her collarbone and shoulder.
3. Black maze-like tattoos on both forearms, interspersed with old scars where crystals were inserted and removed from her skin.

Fashion

Astrid dresses simply and practically, favoring trousers and sleeves she can roll up, all in dark colors. Given the option, she'll certainly wear well-made clothes over cheap ones.

Demeanor & Attitude

Poised, calculating, tending towards aloof. Since she's trained as a spy and assassin, she's capable of blending in and coming across as friendly, but it isn't her resting face.

Voice

Low and smooth. When speaking English/Common, she speaks with a German/Zemnian accent. Here's her first scene in the campaign.

Magic & Telepathy

Astrid is a decently powerful wizard from the D&D 5E world. The tattoos on her arms act as a focus for the spell Glyph Chant.

Astrid doesn't have any specific protections against telepathy; in fact, as a teenager her mentor Trent Ikithon implanted false memories into her mind. It's possible that she's got a minor amount of protection from mind-reading by dint of sheer self-control -- anyone peeking in there would probably get a glimpse of a mind doing a lot of calcuations, focused on potential dangers and advantages, rather than a lot of emotions -- but feel free to ask!
